We are looking for an experienced and driven manager to lead and support our Research Analyst team. This role is ideal for someone with proven leadership experience who can drive performance, delegate effectively and support both team development and business growth.
Employment Experts provides reports for courts that help to decide how much compensation a person should be awarded for lost earnings and career opportunity.
Our Research Analyst Team provides valuable support to our growing team of experts, to investigate claimant’s work opportunities, vacancies, salaries and benefits. This involves gathering and analysing publicly available data and labour market trends, monitoring developments and sharing updates with the expert team. You will be able to interpret and analyse information, drawing logical conclusions and presenting findings in your own words to the expert team.
The successful applicant will take the lead in organising and prioritising team workloads, managing monthly task lists and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. They will be responsible for collating and presenting key data to inform senior management, identifying opportunities for growth and recognising team achievements along the way.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside our occupational therapists and psychologists who provide functional assessments of the physical capacity of disabled claimants to return to work, in our sister organisation, Novo Therapy & Care .

The following experience is required:

  • A relevant undergraduate degree is essential. Additional qualifications at post graduate or master’s level are desirable
  • Proven experience in a senior role within a relevant organisation
  • Strong track record of delegating tasks and managing priorities
  • Comfortable and confident presenting information to senior management and wider teams.
  • Confident in identifying training needs and supporting development
  • Proactive and able to use own initiative to drive improvement and solve problems
  • Statistical understanding for carrying out calculations to analyse pay information and documents.
  • Able to source, analyse and present data.
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and excellent numerical ability.
  • Experience in report writing
  • Basic knowledge of UK tax system.
  • Experience of undertaking primary and secondary research.
  • Experience of using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Professional demeanour suitable for a commercial environment.
  • Understanding of confidentiality.

The post may be particularly suitable to those with a background or higher education in Economics or Accountancy.
