REQUIREMENTS

Above all else, we are looking for someone that cares and can demonstrate an approach to leadership and management that aligns with PCG values. You’ll have a sound understanding of policies, procedures and legislation relating to our industry.

    Responsibilities

    DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Inspiring, leading and motivating the team to achieve the SMART team objectives that you’ve set and align to the young person’s care plan and positive behaviours strategies
    • Promoting a positive culture throughout the team, in line with PCG values
    • Managing your team’s performance, motivation, career aspirations and welfare through meaningful conversations, supervisions and clear, consistent communication. Collaborating with the HR, Welfare and Learning and Development teams as needed to achieve the best outcomes for your team, your young person and the wider PCG team.
    • Lead day to day operations including delivering person centred care which is aligned to the young person’s care plan
    • Ensuring all compliance requirements for the placement are consistently met and you and the team have the correct knowledge of mentor reporting, safeguarding, company processes and procedures and relevant regulations and legislation.
    • Managing and effectively communicating with all internal and external stakeholders relevant to the placement and young person
    • Being ’on call’ in rotation with other Managers
    • Taking an active role in recruitment and onboarding, including supporting with interviews, assessment days and new starter briefings.
    • Ensuring your teams training is up to date and liaising with Learning and Development
