Suffolk County Council Address: Endeavour House, Ipswich, IP1 2BX - Community based Salary: £48,163 per annum (pro rata for part time) Hours: 37 hours per week, flexible working options available Contract: Permanent We are looking for an experienced and passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to take on a pivotal clinical leadership role within our Adult Social Care (ASC) directorate. This is a unique opportunity to join us as an Occupational Therapist Team Manager to lead, inspire, and shape occupational therapy practice across the Ipswich and East Locality. You will provide clinical and professional leadership and supervision to Occupational Therapists working within 8 Integrated Neighbourhood Teams and the Flexible Care and Support Team. Your role will be central to ensuring high-quality, evidence-based practice and driving continuous improvement. What you will do Lead and influence OT practice across the Ipswich and East Locality, ensuring consistency, quality, and innovation. Provide clinical supervision and professional guidance to OTs, supporting their development and maintaining best practice standards. Oversee and respond to demand, waiting lists, and capacity, ensuring efficient service delivery. Support audits, quality assurance, and implement practice changes aligned with evidence-based approaches. Work in close partnership with senior clinicians and integrated health and social care teams to deliver holistic, person-centred care. Engage with OTs across health and social care to develop collaborative projects, implement service improvements, and promote integration. Deliver and oversee specialist assessments and interventions for individuals with complex needs.
