Team Member – Back-of-House Bobby’s Burgers by Bobby Flay is seeking hourly restaurant line cook team members for our location in University Parkway, Orem, Utah. As a line cook, you will have the opportunity to prepare delicious, made-to- order food in a fast-paced, fast-casual restaurant environment, creating the “Ultimate Burger Experience” for our guests. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, and ABILITIES: ✔ Prior food handling experience (kitchen preparation and cooking) preferred. ✔ Knowledge of food safety standards. ServSafe certification is valued, but not required. ✔ Great guest service skills. ✔ Dependable team player with a strong work ethic. ✔ Knowledge of units of measure and other basic math skills. ✔ Ability to work assigned schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. ✔ Ability to ensure the preparation and presentation of products in accordance with company standards. ✔ Ability to effectively communicate with team members and guests. ✔ Ability to follow directions and procedures, has effective time management and organization skills. ✔ Ability to maintain personal and uniform cleanliness and standards. ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: ✔ Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling. ✔ In an 8-hour workday: standing/walking for up to 8 hours. ✔ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. ✔ Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals. ✔ Exposure to temperatures less than 32 degrees Fahrenheit and more than 90 degrees Fahrenheit. ✔ Work requires bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching. EDUCATION: ✔ High School Diploma or equivalent desired, but not required. ✔ Culinary and/or some college is valued, but not required. EXPERIENCE: ✔ 1+ years minimum work experience (cooking) in a restaurant or food service role is desired.
