Cornish Bakehouse sells authentic Cornish Pasties which are handmade in Cornwall and baked fresh in our shops. Freshly made sandwiches, baguettes, pizzas, paninis and hot drinks also add to our overall take-away food offering.
As part of our exciting growth strategy, we are looking for additional permanent staff for our shop in Fore Street in the town centre of Looe.
We have an opening for a full-time staff member to join us for the rest of the busy summer and stay into the quieter winter season. We are always looking for enthusiastic people to join our team, who are passionate about food quality, hardworking and keen to succeed in a growing company.

Are you able to:-

• Work full-time hours on a flexible basis, including working weekends
• Demonstrate previous experience in a coffee shop / food retailing
• Prepare, bake and sell our products
• Provide exceptional service to our customers
• Adhere to health & safety and food hygiene regulations
• Assist in shop clean down during and at the end of the day
• Handle deliveries in accordance with company policy and health & safety standards
• Available to work during the week and at weekends on a rota basis

QUALIFICATIONS

• Barista trained
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and staff
• Organisational skills to handle various tasks efficiently
  Previous experience of working in a food retailing, catering or other retailing environment is desirable, but not essential as full training will be given.
