With 368 rooms, 2 restaurants, a spacious terrace, a stylish bar and 14 meeting rooms, Mercure Amsterdam City Hotel is looking for a parttime Team Member F&B (Waiter) to strengthen our team!

Job Description

What will you do?

As a Team Member F&B, you are the face of our restaurant and bar. You welcome guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, and ensure every guest enjoys an excellent experience.

Your responsibilities include:

• Welcoming and assisting guests in a friendly and professional manner;
• Taking food and beverage orders;
• Serving dishes and drinks;
• Setting up and clearing tables;
• Ensuring the restaurant is clean and presentable;
• Working together with colleagues to deliver outstanding service.

Most of your shifts will be evenings, although occasional breakfast shifts may be part of the schedule.

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic hospitality lover who enjoys interacting with people and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

You are:

• Available on a parttime basis;
• Flexible and willing to work mainly evening shifts, including weekends when needed;
• Friendly, proactive and service-minded;
• Comfortable communicating in English (Dutch is not required);
• A team player who enjoys a fast-paced environment.

Previous experience in hospitality is a plus, but definitely not required. We are happy to teach you everything you need to know. This position is therefore also ideal as a side job alongside your studies.
