Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

This position is focused on supporting and leading back-of-house service during our busy breakfast and lunch hours. We’re looking for someone with solid kitchen experience—someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards, moves efficiently under pressure, and doesn’t mind an early start. You’ll be responsible for prep, cooking, maintaining food safety standards, and working closely with the front-of-house team to keep service flowing.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Food Prep & Cooking: Preparing our bao fillings and sides to a high standard, following recipes and portion control guidelines.
  • Maintaining Standards: Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and up to health and safety regulations.
  • Service Support: Coordinating with the front-of-house team to ensure fast, smooth service during busy periods.
  • Stock & Waste Management: Keeping track of stock levels, minimising waste, and helping with daily checks.
  • Staying Proactive: Using quieter periods for prep, cleaning, and planning ahead for the next rush.
