JOB SUMMARY

The Post-Harvest Team Member plays a vital role in the post-harvest phase Processing Team. This position involves assisting in various tasks related to bud removal, trimming, and packaging of processed cannabis to maintain quality standards and support efficient processing.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  1. Basic understanding of post-harvest processes, including drying, curing, trimming, and packaging in a cannabis cultivation setting.
  2. Ability to follow instructions accurately and work collaboratively within a team environment.
  3. Attention to detail to ensure adherence to quality standards and consistency in processing.
  4. Capacity to maintain cleanliness and adhere to hygiene protocols in a regulated environment.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent education.
  2. Previous experience in a production or agricultural environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
  3. Familiarity with handling plants or experience in a regulated industry is beneficial.
Responsibilities

Post-Harvest Processing:

  • Assist in post-harvest activities, including drying, curing, trimming, and packaging of harvested cannabis plants.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure proper handling and processing of harvested material.

    Quality Control Support:

  • Support quality control efforts by identifying and reporting any inconsistencies or abnormalities in processed material.

  • Work closely with supervisors to maintain quality standards throughout the post-harvest phase.

    Inventory Management Assistance:

  • Aid in maintaining accurate inventory records by properly labeling, documenting, and tracking processed batches.

  • Assist in inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.

    Cleaning and Sanitization:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the post-harvest area by sanitizing equipment, workstations, and tools.

  • Adhere to hygiene protocols to prevent contamination during post-harvest operations.

    Accountabilities:Assistance in post-harvest processing tasks following SOPs to ensure quality and compliance.

  • Support in maintaining accurate inventory records and adherence to cleanliness standards in the post-harvest area.
