Key Result Areas
1.Always ensure that breakdowns are attended and rectified to the satisfaction of all within minimum downtime and impact to the operations.
2.Ensure that housekeeping in facility and plant equipments are in good condition.
3.Help the supervisor and technicians on day-to-day work for AC & Refrigeration units installation, servicing & monitoring.
4.Visually inspect the cold rooms / cabinets / ice machine and AC units and report to supervisor if any issue found.
5.Record all freezers and chillers temperatures on a log sheet and conduct a visual diagnostic check to ensure that proper storage temperatures are maintained for all food items.
6.Provide support and help with all other trades when required.
7.Ensure the personal safety of the jobholder by the correct use of tools/equipment and wearing the safety accessories/equipment as supplied by the company.
8.Follow the Quality Policy and Quality System established in accordance ISO 9001:2000 international standards and executes his responsibilities according to the department work procedures while reflecting EKFC Quality Policy.
Knowledge, Skills & Minimum Experience

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:

a) Basic or Trade certification in AC or refrigeration system (must have)
b) Previous experience in HVAC and Refrigeration field (preferred)

A)YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

b)Area of Experience: HVAC and refrigeration system and equipment functioning. Ex. Chiller / Compressor / Cooling tower / Condenser /Split AC / AHU / FAHU / FCU /Kitchen Exhaust fans

SKILLS:

Good learner and eager to take more task.
Should be able to work in places where they are exposed to dust, fumes, noise, and high voltage equipment.
Capable of working in confined and hot spaces like roofs, crawl ways and attics.
Able to work in adverse weather and may be required to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, kneel or stand for long stretches of time.
Ability to work under pressure to meet targets set by supervisors
Should be able to work in shift basis and as per operational requirement.
Basic spoken & Written English.
High level of commitment to continuous improvement and adaptability to change.
