Dumpling Chef, a thriving franchise chain specializing in Chinese dumplings and fast food, is delighted to announce the opening of its new store in Melbourne Central Shopping Centre . As we prepare for this exciting new venture, we are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Full-time and Part-time Team Member and Senior Crew.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prior experience in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with operating the ABACUS POS system or similar point-of-sale software is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends as the store operates seven days a week.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals, individual dishes, and foods.
  • Estimate food portions, monitor supplies, and manage inventory.
  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, including chefs and cooks.
  • Inspect and maintain cleanliness of kitchen and food service areas.
  • Order supplies, equipment, and handle food deliveries.
  • Assist with food preparation and retrieval of ingredients.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, appliances, and work areas.
  • Wash dishes, pots, and utensils.
  • Maintain clear and organized workspaces.
  • Dispose of trash and ensure kitchen hygiene.
  • Operate the ABACUS POS system accurately (training provided).
  • Prioritize attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
  • Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders and packaging food.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate with diverse customers to meet their needs while following food safety and hygiene protocols.
