About the role A CFC Team Member plays an important role in the flow of products moving through the CFC into a customer’s bag. So, what does it take? A keen eye for detail and the ability to perform tasks efficiently and accurately. The workstations throughout a CFC vary across ambient, chilled and freezer environments and can include decanting items to go into the hive, to packing a customer’s order into bags. And underpinning this caring culture is technology unique to this centre, which reduces some of the heavy lifting that may be required in the role. Responsibilities include: Bagging - Putting bags into totes ready to be packed Dekit - Managing empty totes to go back into the hive Tote Washing - Inspecting and cleaning totes Decanting - Removing stock from packaging to go into the hive. Across ambient, chilled and freezer stations Picking - Picking and packing customer orders across ambient, chilled and freezer stations Frame Loading - Managing frames. This includes loading totes onto frames and moving frames into positions Loading - Moving full frames onto delivery van and removing empty frames About you and your skills Demonstrate a focus on safety, customer service and continuous improvement Possess a strong eye for detail and accuracy Displace strong team skills with a willingness to adapt in fast-paced environments Ability to work weekends, public holidays and during our busy peak periods is essential You’ll need to be comfortable working on your own and following set instructions To be active – you’ll be on your feet for long periods of time and may require some moderate to heavy lifting and reaching What’s in it for you?
