Silver Fern Farms Hokitika are seeking applications from reliable, hardworking and honest people in our community to join our Animal Assembly team. Hokitika is our only Processing Site on the West Coast of the South Island, employing 120+ Team Members at the height of the season. Located along the coastline, five minutes drive from the town centre, the site is 30 minutes south of Greymouth and eaily accessible from State Highway 6. Te mahi, our working arrangements: * Complete your on-the-job training and earn a minimum $28.82/hr plus extras. * Usually, 30 to 40 hours per week during peak production season, plus overtime opportunities. * Minimum $43/hr production overtime rate. * Hours of work generally fall between 6.00am – 3.00pm, with Saturdays required dependent on livestock flows. * All work clothing and safety gear is provided. (Livestock handling experience is preferable) * You’re an active team member who can work closely with others and bring a positive, hardworking attitude. * Able to understand and follow health and safety, quality, and technical compliance requirements. * Eligible to work in New Zealand. * Must be 18 years or older to meet audit requirements. * Able to pass our pre-employment medical checks, criminal convictions check, and physical fitness requirements.
