Description Summary: Kiefer Aquatics is a leader in the swimming industry, providing swim teams and retail customers with the finest products and exceptional service. When you join Kiefer, you will take on key store management responsibilities including leading and supervising day-to-day event activities, ensuring overall business performance, managing schedules, and helping drive sales with our teams and at our local events. Requirements Essential Functions/Primary Duties: Service competitive, high school and summer league swim teams with suit selections, apparel and equipment needs Coordinate fittings, meets, and team events throughout the year Work with internal departments to create proofs and custom webstores Work with vendors to design and order custom caps Provide on-site vending at team meets Manage team suit inventory levels for custom items stocked at corporate warehouse Oversee webstore order workflow and resolve order issues Work with vendors and internal custom departments to process VIK orders for teams Lead all marketing, processes and staff for the retail location. Manage day-to-day operations using Salespad, Lightspeed and MS Teams. Communicate with VP of Sales on weekly updates regarding store performance and team sales activities. Manage and implement schedules for retail locations and all high school, summer league and competitive fittings and meets. Oversee inventory management, including projections in conjunction with Buying Coordinator. Support outside sales efforts in acquiring new teams and events. Hire, train, and develop staff at retail locations. Direct all merchandising and maintain an organized, customer-friendly retail environment Keep up with industry trends and products from all our vendors. Communicate with staff members including team meetings and reviews. General Expectations: Industry leading service commitment mindset and execution with every customer interaction. Stay informed on industry trends, vendor products, and new technologies. Effective use of all Kiefer Aquatics systems and workflows. Build and maintain strong customer relationships. Attending company tradeshows or events when required. Skills/Attributes: Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Knowledge of swimming, aquatics or the swim Industry. Able to work effectively independently. Physical Requirements: The physical demands of this position are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, kneel, climb, twist, move about the warehouse, and push, pull, and lift more than 30 pounds. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position; the schedule will be around store hours. Some evenings and weekend work is required, particularly during team fittings and event seasons.
