Job Description
The Team Supervisor is the fourth level in the technical career path and the Team Supervisor (WT4) is expected to be highly proficient in carrying out both scheduled service and troubleshooting.
The Team Supervisor is a competent and accredited person who has knowledge about the Windfarm systems and can provide safety supervision and technical guidance to qualified technicians.
The Team Supervisor is a key role to support the Operations Manager and the Planning function and has the responsible to lead the morning- and evening brief, toolbox talks and performance meetings etc. But also to prepare for next day ensuring the right spare parts etc.
The role is responsible for the execution of daily work – Scheduling and the performance of the teams at site. This covers revenue-based availability, HSE and boosting performance.
The role will also inspect work orders and prioritize work orders with guidance from the Associated Technical Expert – HV/Region if needed.
Deliver a high focus on maintaining high availability on WTG’s, in cooperation with own personnel and external contractors with a high focus on HSE.
The Team Supervisor will cover both – Scheduled/planned maintenance and Troubleshooting/fault-finding*

Will be working where the technicians are mobilisation from, Onshore or Offshore.

  • Depending on the type and size of the installation (Numbers of WTG), This role can be split into two different roles - Team Supervisor Maintenance and Team Supervisor Troubleshooting. In the event that scheduled maintenance is completed by an ISP/ Contractor Team Supervisor Maintenance will be responsible for all other Windfarm maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Support Planning function with any technical questions and allocate the relevant resources related to the plan and schedules, as well as how work can be bundled to improve efficiency
  • Translate planes into execution and generate daily transfer/pax lists
  • Maintain the local visual scheduling board
  • Ensure that work plans are developed to ensure passenger/material transfers are executed in accordance with safe working practices and take relevant procedures into account
  • Liaise with the scope responsible on projects to ensure that all technicians, contractors and third parties going offshore have the correct certification and competences to carry out the planned work
  • Attach relevant Task Lists and AWP to work orders (as appropriate) if not already done and place daily work orders on relevant tablets
  • Picking spare parts and preparing for all the offshore tasks, pick for all workorders (if applicable)
  • Handling customs at site (if applicable)
  • Inform about the progress and keep stakeholders informed on progress of all activities, including retrofits, inspections, service jack-up etc. performed on site
  • Update OPT tool (outage tool) on turbine status in real time (day before and during the working day)
  • Ensure the validity of own safety certificates; GWO Standard Basic Training (BST), Offshore Medical Certificate etc. and other safety trainings
  • Responsible for the condition of own safety equipment; life vest, helmet, fall harness etc. and the supplied equipment always is ready to use, carry out inspection of own safety equipment before use
  • Lead morning brief, de-brief in the evening, toolbox talks, performance meetings etc.
  • Provide cover for the Operations Manager in their absence towards the operation
  • Supervise teams of internal and external Technicians carrying out scheduled maintenance/troubleshooting and ensuring a consistent high level of quality, efficiency and safety
  • Inspect work orders, ensuring hours, explanation and use of spare parts, and technical close the order before they are closed by the O&M Site Coordinator, any abnormalities to inform Operations Manager
  • Prioritize and evaluate notifications from service technicians (support from Associate Technical Expert)
  • Ensure HSE policies are part of the daily work on site
