At our brewery in Spandau, you will work with around 25 colleagues.
As Team Lead (Brewery) Operations (m/f/d) you combine purchasing, logistics and production planning and design processes so that team, material and procedures are optimally coordinated.
The position is primarily based in Spandau. Working from home is generally possible – depending on the role, tasks, and team requirements.
Tasks
- Team leadership: You lead a team of approximately seven people from purchasing, logistics and warehousing and promote an open, appreciative team culture.
- Process control: You ensure smooth operations and coordinate the processes from goods receipt to filling.
- Purchasing & Material Availability: You ensure that raw materials, packaging materials and other operating resources are available as needed.
- Supplier management: You support and develop our suppliers, conduct negotiations and identify potential for better conditions and processes.
- Inventory & goods flows: You keep track of inventory levels and goods movements and ensure clean planning and documentation in Oracle NetSuite.
- Logistics & Optimization: You further develop warehousing, transport and distribution processes, paying attention to quality, costs, adherence to deadlines and occupational safety.
qualification
- Attitude & Togetherness: You share our attitude for diversity, equality and respectful coexistence and stand clearly against discrimination, racism, sexism and queerphobia.
- Professional experience: You have at least 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, purchasing, or a comparable field. Experience in the beverage or beer industry is a plus.
- Leadership skills: You have already led teams, are good at delegating, and promote personal responsibility and further development.
- Organization & process thinking: You maintain an overview even with many interfaces, set clear priorities and continuously develop processes.
- Digital process understanding: You are proficient in Excel, quickly familiarize yourself with systems, and use new technologies such as AI to make processes more efficient.
- Communication: You communicate confidently in German and English – within the team as well as with suppliers and external partners.
