Description

Responsibilities Build, develop, and retain an Accounting and Reporting team capable of scaling with rapid growth and increasing business complexity Prepare high-quality monthly management reporting, including variance analysis against forecasts and the annual operating plan Manage intercompany processes, transfer pricing, and consolidation, ensuring alignment with auditors and group requirements Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and closings in accordance with US GAAP internal policies, group standards, and statutory year-end requirements under Swiss OR Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports, and oversee payroll accounting and analysis Support the company-wide forecasting and planning process, including the annual operating plan and quarterly committed forecasts Skills and Qualifications University degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing company Advanced financial analytics and modelling skills Solid expertise in accounting and controlling (US GAAP and Swiss OR preferred) Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP and consolidation systems (SAP or similar) Knowledge of Power BI and RPA software is an advantage Strong verbal and written communication skills in German and English at all organizational levels Ambition and enthusiasm to contribute to profitability through continuous and persistent process improvement We offer a dynamic, international environment, an appreciative, collegial corporate culture unique technical challenges for the products of the day after tomorrow above-average social benefits Coherent is a global leader in lasers, engineered materials and networking components.
