Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

As our Teamleader Shift Technicians you’ll be the go-to person for corrective maintenance tasks across mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and (limited) E&I/control engineering. You’ll lead a team of approximately 11 technicians, ensuring that our operations are efficient, safe, and up to the highest standards.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Contribute to Maintenance Planning: Your insights will shape our maintenance plan and budget. You’ll propose improvements, discuss changes, and ensure new procedures are implemented seamlessly within the team.
  • Direct Work Activities: You’ll manage personnel occupancy, coordinate with planners, prepare and distribute tasks, hold toolbox meetings, and supervise the quality and quantity of work. You’ll also guide external mechanics and solve technical problems that arise.
  • Ensure Responsible Work: You’ll check data and work orders, approve tasks performed by third parties, and prepare detailed reports on progress, hours spent, material usage, and task quality.
  • Project Realization: You’ll develop preliminary research, make sketches, determine materials, assemble and install parts, calibrate equipment, and transfer knowledge to production personnel and technicians.
  • Manage Machines & Tools: You’ll oversee department-related equipment, ensure tools are checked, and manage the purchase of spare parts and technical consumables.
  • Substitute for M&E Manager: During short-term absences, you’ll step in to ensure uninterrupted operational progress.
  • Lead Your Team: You’ll ensure team occupancy, hire temporary workers if needed, direct, coach, and develop employees, conduct performance reviews, and apply HR policies.
  • Maintain Rules: You’ll ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental care, GMP, and HACCP rules, take corrective action on deviations, and expand your knowledge and skills for safe, efficient job execution.
