Description
  • Technical and disciplinary leadership of the embedded software development team
  • Planning, prioritization and coordination of tasks, projects and resources
  • Management of external service providers
  • Interface to other departments and active participation in the design of efficient processes
  • Responsibility for the further development of the e-architecture
  • Ensuring the functionality of the control units within the system network of the individual trailer types, as well as creating the software release plan.
  • Further development and motivation of the team, as well as the promotion of a positive work culture and constructive collaboration.


Your qualifications.

  • Completed studies in electrical engineering, computer engineering or a comparable field of study
  • Several years of experience leading or deputy leading a team in embedded software development, preferably in the automotive sector.
  • Several years of programming experience as a software architect for microcontroller systems, as well as knowledge of C++, FreeRTOS or other embedded systems.
  • Knowledge in the field of functional safety (ISO 26262) and ideally also cybersecurity (ISO 21434) and software update management (ISO 24089)
  • Experience in software development of electronic systems according to the V-model and very good knowledge of requirements specification.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, high conflict resolution skills, and a proactive and results-oriented work style.
  • Strong communication skills, empathy, and a confident demeanor towards internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent German skills and good English skills (at least C1) in both spoken and written form.
  • Willingness to undertake occasional business trips
