TEC SUPPORT OFFICERS - INSTALLATIONS
Exciting new opportunity for two TEC Project Support Officers - Installations to join Birmingham Council on a 12-month fixed term contract.
The main responsibility of these roles will be the timely installation of technologies in a citizen’s property. This is a customer focused role with lots of daily interactions with our citizens in their own homes. The post holder will enjoy organising their own diary, scheduling their own appointments, installing communication devices, and taking time to clearly explain what is happening to each citizen on each visit. You will also support our practitioners to make the right TEC referral based on the assessed needs of the citizen.
No previous technical experience is required as full training will be given. A love for people and delivering and excellent customer service and empathy to our citizens is what we are looking for!
These roles will be primarily office based within the Careline Service in Holt Court, Aston (5 Holt Court, Heneage Street West, Birmingham, B7 4AX) and require a vehicle driver with a full driving licence. Cars/Vans can be provided via Careline if necessary or expenses can be claimed for the use of your own vehicle. In addition, Holt Court is in the clean air zone (CAZ) of the City and can incur charges for the use of older vehicles that must be managed by the post-holder.
