SUMMARY: The Tech Aide position provides technical support within the school environment, with an emphasis on delivering excellent customer service to students and staff. Under the supervision of the Technology Department, the Tech Aide assists in diagnosing and repairing Chromebooks, resolving classroom technology issues, and supporting day-to-day technology operations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as the first point of contact for students and staff requiring technical assistance. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on Chromebooks and related student devices. Assist teachers with classroom technology, including hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Document and track service requests, repairs, and resolutions. Requirements TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES: Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job. Ability to promote and follow Board of Education policies, Authorizer policies and building and department procedures. Ability to communicate, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with people from diverse ethnic and educational backgrounds. Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, practice safe work habits, utilize appropriate safety equipment and report unsafe conditions to the appropriate administrator.
