Title: Tech Architect/Enterprise Architect Location: MBHQ, Al Asayel Street, Downtown, Dubai Duration: 12-month contract with possibility of extension Description: The Enterprise Architect is responsible for shaping and driving the enterprise technology strategy to support business objectives and digital transformation. This individual works as part of the broader enterprise architecture function, fostering collaboration across business and IT teams to ensure scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong communication skills, stakeholder management and advance architectural practices and technologies. Leadership Skills Required Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and articulate a clear technology roadmap that supports business transformation. Influence and Communication: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences. Change Management: Proven track record of leading organizational change and driving adoption of new technologies and processes. Collaboration: Ability to foster strong partnerships with business units, IT, and external vendors. Decision-Making: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment. Technical Skills Required EA Frameworks: Deep knowledge of frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar. Cloud & Infrastructure Platforms: experience with Azure, hybrid/multi-cloud environments and compute, storage, network infrastructure. Solution and Application Architecture: Expertise in designing scalable, secure, and resilient solutions across diverse technology stacks. Integration and APIs: Strong understanding of integration patterns, API management, and microservices architectures. Security and Compliance: Thorough knowledge of enterprise security principles, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Data Architecture: Experience in data modeling, data governance, and analytics platforms. DevOps and Automation: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and agile delivery methodologies. Legacy Modernization: Experience in assessing, planning, and executing modernization of legacy systems. Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. 20+ years of progressive experience in financial services technology. 15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, Development, and leadership roles. Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, etc.) are highly desirable.
