You will play a crucial role in helping ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on you joining our team to leverage your intermediate “hands on” work experience in support of installations, repair, and troubleshooting / maintenance of communications systems / equipment. ● Fabricates, installs, maintains, and repairs electronic, mechanical, and/or other types of components and equipment. ● Must have the technical knowledge to solve complex problems, understand the interrelationships of circuits, and be able to exercise independent judgment in performing tasks in support of communications systems or equipment. ● May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals. ● Provides advice and a range of onsite training for customer support personnel. The Tech Control Facility Technician II must have: ● Required Technical Skills: Intermediate “hands on” work experience in support of installations, repair, and troubleshooting or maintenance of communications systems or equipment. Must have the technical knowledge to solve complex problems, understand the interrelationships of circuits, and be able to exercise independent judgment in performing tasks in support of communications systems or equipment. ● Security Clearance Level: SECRET ● Required Skills and Abilities: Must meet the certification requirement of DoD 8570.01-M or otherwise stated in SPIN-C or individual task order. Must have the technical knowledge to solve complex problems, understand the interrelationships of circuits, and be able to exercise independent judgment in performing tasks in support of communications systems or equipment. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Intermediate experience in maintenance/troubleshooting of Tech Control Facility equipment as specified in the task order to include the following: • NET Promina equipment • KG, KY, KIV and ancillaries • CISCO Routers/Switches • Patch panels/maintenance panels • Fiber optic modems and interface cards #DefenseOCONUS #GDITPriority The likely hourly rate for this position is between $33.49 - $45.31. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
