Job Title: Digital Tech Expert – Windows Engineering (WECOE) Department: Digital Technology Team: Windows Engineering Center of Excellence (WECOE) Location: Hyderabad Position Summary We are seeking a Digital Tech Expert to join our Windows Engineering Center of Excellence team. This role will drive innovation, automation, and operational excellence across our global Windows ecosystem, supporting a fleet of over 100,000 Windows workstations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Windows operating systems, engineering practices, and enterprise-level endpoint management, ensuring security, reliability, and superior end-user experience. Key Responsibilities Windows Engineering Leadership: Design, implement, and optimize enterprise-level Windows OS solutions (Windows 10/11+), ensuring compliance with security and performance standards. Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of Windows operating systems, including deployment, patching, upgrades, and end-of-life transitions. Automation & Optimization: Develop and implement automation strategies using PowerShell and other tools to streamline OS deployment, configuration, and maintenance. Endpoint Management: Manage and enhance Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and Intune for large-scale device provisioning, compliance, and policy enforcement. Security & Compliance: Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure Windows environments meet global security standards, including vulnerability management and hardening. Performance Monitoring: Establish proactive monitoring and reporting for Windows systems to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. Innovation & Modernization: Lead initiatives to adopt modern management practices, including cloud-based device management and Windows Autopilot. Documentation & Standards: Develop technical documentation, policies, and best practices for Windows engineering and operations. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with architecture, operations, and support teams to deliver seamless solutions aligned with business objectives. Vendor Management: Engage with Microsoft and third-party vendors to evaluate new technologies and manage escalations. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum 7 years in enterprise-level Windows engineering and endpoint management.
