Our solutions fall into two broad categories: control products and components.   Title: Tech I Mfg Ops Job Family: Components Reports to: Mfg. Mgr FLSA Status Non-exempt   Summary We have an opportunity for an Electrical Assembly Technician I primarily focused on Strain Gage placement and Wiring of Transducer Switches.  The selected individual will have  electrical/ electronics manufacturing environment with demonstrated skills in working with micro-miniature products. Preference will be given to candidates from the aerospace/ medical device manufacturing industry.   Position Duties * Work under a Stereo Microscope to orient and assemble small and delicate electrical components that are sensitive to environment, process changes, and F.O.D. * Ability to position and place micro miniature parts using specialty adhesives and solder in place very fine wires using Tweezers, and small Hand Tools/Fixtures. * Solders/Welds parts by following schematic, blueprint, and Standard Work Instructions  * Ensure product quality and conformance to design requirements. * Ability to reproduce the same level of quality and product functionality to deliver product consistency – this position requires a high level of dexterity, attention to detail and discipline to work diligently on repetitive tasks. * Work well under time standards to meet customer demand. * High level of commitment to process improvement and take pride in the quality of workmanship * Ability and willingness to cross-train and learn through sharing of knowledge * Perform other tasks and functions assigned by the Supervisor/ Manager from time to time.   Qualifications Education & Experience: * Soldering of components to J-STD-001 and inspection per IPC-A-610 specification requirements desirable * A High School diploma, or equivalent. * Quality conscious and have good dexterity. * Demonstrated ability to read, interpret and work from drawings, controlled documentation and processes such as: layout drawings, mechanical drawings, assembly procedures/work instructions, schematics, engineering drawings, and parts lists. * 5+ years of uninterrupted electrical assembly experience using a microscope * Ensure product quality and conformance to design requirements. * Ability to work under a Microscope for extended periods of time. * Understanding of Basic Electronics. * Ability to communicate and work well in a team environment * Basic computer skills   Physical Demands * Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for precision work; this position requires a high level of dexterity. * Handle delicate/ sensitive and miniature parts with utmost care * Occasionally able to lift up to 20 lbs * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for up to eight hours, and stand. * Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. * Regular predictable attendance * Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Responsibilities
The primary duties involve working under a stereo microscope to assemble delicate electrical components, positioning and placing micro miniature parts, and soldering or welding parts according to schematics and work instructions. The technician must ensure high product quality and consistency while meeting time standards for customer demand.
