Job Summary The essential function of the position within the organization is to maintain school district grounds. The position is responsible for the care of lawns, shrubbery, and trees and other unskilled or semiskilled grounds maintenance duties. The position works under general supervision according to some procedures; decides how and when to complete tasks. What you will do * Plant, mow, rake, edge, weed, water, and fertilize school and district lawns. * Plant, fertilize, water, trim, and prune shrubs, trees, and flowers. * Use mower, shovel, pick, and other hand and power tools. * Cultivate and prepare grounds for planting. * Move trees, shrubs, and flowers. * Weed and spray planted areas. * Service and make minor repairs to power mowers, edgers, and other lawn equipment. * Sweep sidewalks and other areas. Education Qualifications * High School Diploma Required Experience Qualifications * No prior experience, just a short demonstration Required Licenses and Certifications * DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Required Equivalency Starting At: $21.34   Salaries are determined by factors relevant to the position which may include education, experience, and other qualifications. Final compensation decisions are made at the discretion of MNPS in alignment with organizational policies and procedures. The stated salary range for certificated teaching positions is calculated based on 201 days and should be viewed as a reference. All provided salary ranges serve as a general guideline.
