FIRST DEV HIRE/TECH LEAD (FULL STACK, AGENTIC AI, CLIMATETECH)

Location: Remote (<= 5 hour time zone difference with UK preferred)

ABOUT US:

We are Rob and Elise, experienced founders using AI to eliminate manual information management for large scale renewable energy sites, enabling humans to focus on site performance. Our first company, Heliolytics, was a market leading solar analytics/aerial inspection platform that was successfully sold in 2023.
Our product vision: To become the trusted foundation for data and information in next-generation infrastructure operations. We’re building an agentic-AI-first SaaS platform that turns fragmented renewable energy site information into a version-controlled, auditable “site memory,” enabling agentic and traditional workflows for asset managers and O&M providers. While we’re starting in solar, our ambition is to support all renewable energy sectors and, eventually, a broader infrastructure landscape.
Progress so far: We are a few months old, have validated our problems worth solving and MVP features, and have a backlog of interested early clients and a few active trial clients helping us build out our MVP solution.

Responsibilities

Fundamentally you are in charge of ensuring our agentic AI SaaS platform is enterprise-level. You are a brainstorming partner with Rob on advanced AI, data structure and next generation user interactions, and you are a build pipeline planning partner with Elise, ensuring features are scoped and designed effectively from a technical perspective. If you’re up for it, you would also lead and build our growing team of developers.
We recognize our needs can be met at a variety of levels, and discussions around seniority, title, exact responsibilities, and remuneration would adjust accordingly based on the level and skillset - i.e. if you are more of an individual contributor/early tech lead, vs a CTO/strategic lead/people manager.
