Tech Lead - Job Description � � Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Tech Lead to drive the development and architecture of our cutting-edge applications. This role requires a blend of hands-on coding expertise across the entire stack, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of modern cloud technologies and emerging Generative AI/LLM frameworks. The ideal candidate will mentor a team of engineers, guide technical strategy, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and resilient solutions. � � Key Responsibilities ● Technical Leadership & Architecture: Define, design, and implement scalable, high-performance, and secure full-stack solutions. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team. ● Hands-on Development: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for both the frontend and backend, serving as the technical reference point for the team. ● Cloud & Infrastructure: Oversee deployment, scaling, and operational excellence, primarily within the GCP ecosystem. ● AI Integration: Lead the integration of advanced AI/ML capabilities, leveraging foundational knowledge in Generative AI and Large Language Models. ● Code Quality & Standards: Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, testing, CI/CD, security, and performance tuning. ● Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver impactful features. � � Required Technical Skills Category Backend Must-Haves / Key Experience Expertise in one: Java, Python, or Node.js Highly Desired Microservices architecture, API design (REST/gRPC) Frontend Cloud Database Artificial Intelligence Proficiency in one: Vue.js, React, or Angular GCP (Google Cloud Platform) Experience BigQuery or Relational Database (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) GenAI Fundamentals, LLMs, ADK (AI Development Kit/Agent Development Kit) � � Non-Technical & Leadership Skills State management (e.g., Vuex, Redux), modern CSS AWS or Azure experience MongoDB, data warehousing principles, query optimization Vertex AI, Gemini Enterprise, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) patterns ● Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. ● Mentorship & Coaching: Proven experience in mentoring junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth. ● Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical roadblocks. ● Ownership & Accountability: Demonstrates a high level of responsibility for project outcomes, system reliability, and code quality. ● Agile Proficiency: Deep understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). ● Stakeholder Management: Ability to effectively manage expectations and build consensus across different teams. � � Qualifications ● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). ● Typically 7+ years of progressive experience in software development, with 2+ years in a technical leadership or lead engineer role.
