We are currently searching for a Tech Lead Java: Responsibilities Project Coordination: Oversee and ensure the successful delivery of projects as a PMP or Scrum Master, managing the lifecycle from requirement definition to deployment while coordinating with internal departments and external providers. Technical Leadership: Act as an SDLC Technical Leader with a strong background in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular, Linux RedHat, Oracle DB, SQL Support and Incident Management: Ensure Business as Usual (BAU) operations are maintained, including incident backlog management, issue resolution, and task prioritization. Manage patch management and vulnerability assessments and coordinate application and infrastructure updates. Vendor and Resource Management: Manage vendor relationships, including contracts and incident escalations. Oversee a team of 3 direct reports (Infrastructure, Application Support, Incident Management) and coordinate with external providers for infrastructure and software. Infrastructure Oversight: Manage an environment consisting of servers, application systems, and tasks spread across teams. Ensure compliance with regulatory and operational standards, especially within the banking sector. System Development: Leverage prior experience in system development to drive innovation and align technology with business goals. Business Operations: Manage projects within Trading, Investment Funds, SPEI, SWIFT, and Payment Systems (70% focus on these areas). Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in IT environments, tech lead with Java, production support within the banking or financial services sector. Knowledge in Software Architecture. Solid experiencie with Java , Microservices, Oracle DB. Familiarity with agile methodologies and strong knowledge of regulatory compliance in the banking industry. Desirable: Experience with Server, IBM MQ (or similar), and IBM WAS, driving technical solutions and best practices across teams. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a PMP or Scrum Master certification or equivalent, is highly desirable. Languages Advanced Oral English. Native Spanish.
