We’re looking for a talented and motivated Platform Software Engineer with strong design, coding, and debugging skills — and the passion to lead and mentor others. In this role, you’ll take part in developing core components of our large-scale, distributed data-path system — from high-level features to low-level implementation close to the hardware. What you’ll do: Design and develop platform features, including both front-end and back-end aspects. Work closely with the hardware layer (e.g., BSP, I2C, IPMI). Drive complex projects from design to production. Collaborate with multiple teams across disciplines. Lead by example — mentor team members and contribute to a culture of technical excellence. What we’re looking for: Excellent software design, coding, and debugging abilities. Growth potential toward a formal leadership role in the near future. Hands-on experience with low-level and system-level programming. “Can-do” attitude, self-learner, independent and collaborative. Strong communication and teamwork skills. About the team: The Data-Path group provides the core components of our products — designing and developing data plane features for large-scale distributed systems. We own areas such as forwarding information base (FIB), quality of service (QoS), security, and telemetry. Requirements Minimum requirements: Profound knowledge and proven experience in C/C++ (at least 5 years), both in design and development. Experience with multi-threaded programming Highly desired: BSc degree in Computer Science or Engineering Experience with Linux and shell scripting Experience with Python programming Knowledge in IPMI, BSP, I2C Advantages: Proficiency in development in docker containers environment Proficiency in Linux drivers If your experience is close but doesn’t fulfill all requirements, please apply.
