Description

RESPONSIBILITIES: • Lead the implementation & maintenance of Java based output management & document management applications in Asia. • Passionate about technologies, building robust and scalable interfaces and local developments • Hands on experience in analysis, design, coding, and implementation of complex and custom-built solution • Work collaboratively with team to achieve goals. Experience working in a Safe Agile environment • Stake holder management – working closely with program stakeholders, business change engineers, and project managers to drive and manage IT delivery. • Drive and review technical and architectural design, enforce architectural guidelines and challenge status quo • Take responsibility for ensuring that risks and issues are identified and managed closely and delivered on time and to the required quality standards • Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations Minimum 10 years of development experience in Java applications, programming languages and back-end queries. • Well organized and ability to prioritise and carry out multiple tasks. Able to influence and drive projects to meet key milestones and overcome challenges. • Able to translate functional requirements to efficient and fit-for-purpose technical solutions • Communicate highly technical issues to non-technical audience • Understand business / system requirements and translate them into technical solutions that are scalable, stable, and fit for purpose. • Work collaboratively with team to achieve goals. Experience working in Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, and/or Extreme programming Technical Skills • Strong knowledge on Java, JBOSS, Spring boot, Hibernate frameworks. • Strong knowledge on Service oriented architecture, RESTful services • Good knowledge of SQL (MySQL, Oracle, Postgres etc.) • Strong computer science knowledge (algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design) • Working knowledge of GITLAB repositories, Maven, Octopus, CI / CD pipeline • Basic Linux shell scripting commands

Responsibilities

The role involves leading the implementation and maintenance of Java-based document and output management applications across Asia, while driving technical and architectural design reviews. Responsibilities also include managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring timely delivery according to quality standards.
