SKILLS YOU WILL NEED

Leadership and Collaboration: Proven ability to forge effective partnerships across various organizational levels and collaborate with stakeholders to drive technical direction and integration with enterprise solutions.
Strategic Thinking: Strong thought leadership and the ability to make well-balanced technical decisions that align with business objectives.
Innovation and Problem-Solving: Track record of driving innovation in both technology and processes to achieve exceptional results within a fast-paced environment.
Technical Expertise: Broad and deep understanding of relevant technologies, including Java, Spring framework, ReactJS/Angular, modern system architecture patterns, Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform), cloud service providers (preferably GCP), modern SQL/noSQL databases, and data management principles.
Project Management: Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and communicate timelines to team members while maintaining product/project ownership.
Communication Skills: Effective communication of technical information and solutions to stakeholders at all levels of the business.
Vendor Solution Implementation: Preferred experience in implementing third-party packaged software solutions such as MDM, ERP, or WMS.
Adaptability and Time Management: Ability to adapt to changing priorities, identify primary and secondary objectives, and prioritize time effectively.
Artificial Intelligence: Experience or knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies like GenAI and Co-pilot, enabling efficient utilization of AI tools in software engineering processes and decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, mentor, and guide individuals to establish a robust cross-functional team. • Design and develop scalable software solutions.
  • Establish and oversee software delivery processes, systems integration, and developer support tools.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure efficient realization of technical strategies, architecture guidelines, and standards across various projects.
  • Lead technology assessments in critical areas, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate and supervise geographically dispersed engineering scrum-teams, applying agile development and DevOps best practices.
  • Propose innovative ideas regularly to enhance customer outcomes. Define clear, measurable quality objectives for the organization based on data-driven insights.
  • Cultivate a culture of ongoing engineering enhancement through mentorship, feedback mechanisms, and performance metrics.
