Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Tech QA team as a Specialist or Senior Tech QA Analyst. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and stability of our games, and we are looking for candidates with a strong technical background and a deep understanding of QA methodologies and tools. This position is embedded within a team focused on developing advanced tools and systems used to create cinematic in-game experiences. As such, it requires close collaboration with programmers and a strong ability to work with in-development features, tools and pipelines. Daily Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive testing and verification of new game and engine features, including performance and stability checks across different platforms. Work closely with programmers to validate code changes, including building the game locally, verifying integrations and investigating issues directly in-engine. Develop, execute, and optimize advanced test cases, test suites, and test plans, both automated and manual, to ensure thorough coverage of all functionalities. Collaborate closely with programmers, technical artists, and other stakeholders to identify, document, and resolve bugs, ensuring high-quality output. Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and provide actionable insights to improve the quality of the game. Participate actively in risk assessments, strategy development, and process improvements within the QA domain, adapting to changing priorities and project needs. Qualifications Proven experience as a Tech QA Analyst or in a similar role, with at least 3 years of experience for Specialist and 5 years for Senior. Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and experience with game engines (e.g., Unreal, Unity, Godot, REDkit). Hands-on experience working with development environments and tools such as Visual Studio and version control systems (e.g., Perforce). Experience with building projects locally and validating code changes as part of the development pipeline. Ability to develop complex test strategies that encompass integration, stress, and performance testing. Experience in using testing tools and frameworks to optimize testing efficiency and effectiveness. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to think systematically to drive quality improvements. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation and test reports. Fluency in English and a passion for gaming. Nice to have (Please note that these skills are not required to apply for the position) Experience in programming, preferably in C++ and/or Python.
