Description

The Role
We’re looking for a culturally responsive Curriculum Developer to design a 16-week Tech Sales & Customer Success program that prepares learners for entry-level roles such as Sales Development Representative (SDR), Business Development Representative (BDR), and Client Onboarding Specialist.
This curriculum should not only teach sales strategy, it should also help students build confidence, find their voice, and see themselves thriving in high-growth tech spaces where women of color remain underrepresented.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a career-focused, beginner-friendly curriculum aligned to the skills needed for entry-level roles in tech sales and customer success
  • Create weekly lesson plans, slide decks, project-based activities, and assessments that cover:
  • Introduction to the SaaS (Software as a Service) industry
  • Sales pipelines, customer lifecycles, and B2B workflows
  • CRM platforms such as Salesforce and HubSpot
  • Outbound messaging, pitch creation, and objection handling
  • Communication strategies across phone, email, LinkedIn, and video
  • Incorporate mock calls, real-world roleplays, portfolio projects, and résumé/interview preparation
  • Integrate essential soft skills such as:
  • Leadership and teamwork
  • Confidence and self-advocacy
  • Professional writing, emotional intelligence, and tech etiquette
  • Center culturally affirming examples, language, and learner experiences
  • Collaborate with our program team to ensure content reflects the realities, challenges, and aspirations of young women of color entering the tech industry
  • Deliver a full package of materials for live and/or virtual facilitation, including instructor guides

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in tech sales, customer success, or sales enablement
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), B2B sales cycles, SaaS tools, and team-based sales environments
  • Experience designing or delivering job training programs, bootcamps, or workforce curricula
  • A strong commitment to equity, culturally responsive education, and the empowerment of underrepresented learners
  • Ability to break down complex business and tech concepts into clear, confidence-building lessons for first-time learners
  • Must be currently enrolled in one of the following:
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program
  • A course-by-course program in sales, education, curriculum design, or a related field
  • An accredited certification program
  • Bonus: Experience as a woman of color in tech sales, or working directly with women from historically excluded communities

Schedule:
