Job Title: Technical Supervisor – Stockroom, Shipping, and Receiving Location: Auburn Hills, MI Department: Inventory Control Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead and coordinate the Stockroom, Shipping, and Receiving teams. This role is responsible for maintaining performance standards, ensuring process compliance, and driving continuous improvement across all areas. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead, develop, and motivate team members in Stockroom, Shipping, and Receiving. Serve as the primary contact for issues related to holds, QNs, receiving discrepancies, and deliveries. Support cross-functional teams including Manufacturing and Purchasing. Ensure documentation is current, accurate, and properly maintained. Conduct performance reviews and provide timely feedback. Oversee training and ensure proper documentation. Maintain a clean and safe work environment following 5S standards. Monitor attendance, overtime, and PTO requests in compliance with company policies. Update metrics and support root cause analysis. Provide coverage for absent employees as needed. Comply with Environmental Health and Safety standards. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in SAP (Shipping, Receiving, Stockroom functions). Strong understanding of material handling processes. Excellent communication and advanced PC skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines. Physical Demands: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Frequent walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Use of safety glasses and steel-toed shoes required in designated areas. Work Environment: Workstations located in Receiving, Shipping, Stockroom, and Warehouse areas. Moderate noise and dust exposure; temperature varies by season.
