About the role

The Launceston Conference Centre is seeking reliable and tech-savvy individuals to join our casual event tech support team. This role offers flexible work opportunities based on your availability and event schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Setting up and testing audio-visual equipment
• Operating sound, projection and presentation systems during events
• Assisting presenters with microphones, laptops and presentation technology
• Troubleshooting basic technical issues
• Setting up live streaming and video conferencing equipment
• Assisting with event setup and pack-down
• Moving and positioning equipment as required

About you

• A strong interest in AV technology and events
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as required
• Previous AV, IT or event technology experience is desirable but not essential
