Description

One Step Retail Solutions is looking for an experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our external facing Network Support Specialist team at our headquarters in Phoenix, AZ.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

  • Must learn quickly (Demonstrated by certifications)
  • Excellent positive communication skills
  • Credentials in: Windows OS, Firewalls, Securities, Virus
  • Strong knowledge of DOS, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows7, Server2003, and Server 2008
  • Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows networks
  • Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting routers, hubs and switches
  • Retail experience (Such as: ring sales, receiving and physical inventory)
  • 2 years help desk experience
  • Be able to work any of the following shifts and be available for after-hours, weekend/evening shifts:
    6am - 3pm
    8am - 5pm
    10am - 7pm

Responsibilities
  • Install and troubleshoot Windows 2000 and XP workstation Windows7 and servers 2003 and 2008
  • Install and troubleshoot stand-alone, LAN’s & WAN’s systems, including VPNs
  • Install and troubleshoot firewalls, routers, hubs, and switches
  • Configure networks fully, including adding users, configuring RAS, TCP/IP, and printing environments
  • Hardware assembly, installations and repair
  • Software installations (Retail Pro, CounterPoint, Ancillary Products, MSOffice, Utilities, etc.)
  • Customer hardware testing and repair
  • Customer on-site repairs
  • Technical phone support
  • Maintain any and all software credentials (such as Retail Pro/CounterPoint certifications)
  • After hours support
    NOTE: This is an external facing position, customer service is required.
