POSITION OVERVIEW

As a key contributor and team leader, you play a crucial role in assisting ActiveViam’s customers in realizing the business value of Atoti articulated during Presales within a production context.
Leveraging a range of ActiveViam products, you will actively contribute to the planning, scoping, implementation and deployment of final solutions for and with our customers. Outside of implementation projects, you may engage in pre-sales opportunities, analysis resolution of support issues, provide R&D feedback or contribute to customer education (FAQs, training).
Reporting to the Regional Head of Customer Success, you will have significant autonomy in making decisions related to your responsibilities. You and your team are expected to write clean code that adheres to sound design principles and effectively communicate how it was tested. Additionally, you will provide thought leadership on aspects of designing, developing, and deploying our solutions, as well as addressing technical challenges.
In addition to the Technical aspects of the underlying engineering role the CS-TL will:
Oversee the daily management, scheduling, and development of engineering resources within the assigned team to meet demand.
Work with the Regional CS Head and Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to coordinate and resource existing and pipeline work, identifying potential gaps between demand and availability and liaising with other internal teams as needed.
Monitor the personal growth of their team members by helping to identify training and development needs for each individual within the team to meet the needs of the business.
Provide input into individual and team objectives and facilitate their individual team members’ reviews.
Work with their team along with other teams across the organisation to deliver increased customer satisfaction and identify opportunities to expand their Atoti usage.
Help to optimize our delivery processes and provide feedback on our products to the appropriate internal teams

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering / Computer Sciences.
  • 5+ years’ experience in support and engineering in/with financial institutions.
  • 5+ years experience in core Java or Python development for data analytics use cases, w/t focus on memory, concurrency, and algo performance.
  • Passion for identifying problems, participating in solutions definition, and then wanting to personally convince people of the right fit of such solutions.
  • Genuine interest in technologies and how they can empower business people to do their job more efficiently, in particular when it comes to analyzing data to steer the business.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Delegate tasks to team members and provide guidance as needed
  • Manage risks and issues and develop contingency plans when necessary
  • Ability to manage and develop othersTravel: flexibility to travel at short notice across Europe.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in front office, market risk, credit/counterparty risk, or liquidity risk use cases.
  • Experience with some BI tools (e.g. Tableau, QlikView, PowerBI).
  • Experience with Python scripting.
  • Experience with devops frameworks/tools.
  • Experience with some data storage/query engines.
