Job Description Position: Technical Account Manager Primary Location: Home Based US or Canada Reports to: Sales Director Water Solutions Compensation: $150,000 - 160,000 + bonus + benefits. (salaried, exempt) The range shown reflects the targeted pay scale. Actual pay within the range depends on work location and factors such as skills, experience, and education. Specific salary details can be discussed during the hiring process. Posted compensation reflects base salary only and excludes bonuses, benefits, pension contributions, and other incentives. About This Role and You The Technical Manager is leading the Water Solutions applications group to support the growth objectives of the business and develop strategy to protect existing against competitor. The Technical Manager will also have to, manage the SG&A budget, maximize the utilization of the application withing the sales team, manage business priorities, handle the performance review cycle and develop talent of the application team. Qualifications BS or MS in Science or Engineering Minimum 10 years in water treatment industry. Minimum 10 years people management experience. Ideal 5 years direct sales and sales management experience. Ideal 3 years P & L business responsibility. Responsibilities Manage and guide field staff to evaluate products to grow business and meet competitive threats. Ensure commercial strategies and tactics are executed in a timely manner. 55% Manage field staff to address customer’s technical questions/concern/requirement as supplier. Ensure commercial strategies and tactics are executed in a timely manner. 25% Align inside technical staff to work with other internal Chemtrade functions to ensure products meet all external requirements to supply into market.
