Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As a Technical Account Manager, you’ll be the bridge between our clients and our technical teams. You’ll manage relationships, understand business needs, and ensure our services align with client goals. This is a hybrid role combining account management, technical insight, and strategic planning.
This role could also be described as Sales Consultant, IT Account Manager, Virtual IT Director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact.

  • Technical Advisory

Understand client environments and provide guidance on IT strategy, infrastructure, and service improvements based on Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO 27001, Microsoft 365 and specific technology best practice.

  • Quarterly Business Reviews

Lead QBRs to review performance, identify opportunities, and align technology with business objectives. Work with clients to build a budgeted technology roadmap.

  • Customer Success

Identify opportunities to improve our clients’ businesses by building a case to introduce additional services that will help them grow and be more secure.

  • Proposal Generation

Work with project engineers to scope and size planned technology changes. Create, deliver and answer client queries on the proposal.

  • Support New Business

Work with Business Development to assess the state of potential clients’ IT, and provide recommendations for improvement and a suitable support package
