The Technical Account Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting and expanding our specialty customer base, driving new business opportunities, and ensuring the commercial success of our specialty products. This position requires a deep technical understanding of Perovskite-silicon tandem cells and the ability to translate customer needs into actionable solutions. The ideal candidate will be a respected technical authority, capable of managing complex customer relationships and leading internal initiatives to align with market demands.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND OPPORTUNITY MANAGEMENT:

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the specialty market, working closely with existing accounts to support their commercial success.
  • Proactively seeking out and engaging with potential new customers, expanding the company’s market presence.
  • Managing pricing and delivery expectations for specialty customers, ensuring alignment with company capabilities and customer requirements.
  • Gaining a deep understanding of Oxford PV’s business models and applying this knowledge to support strategic business planning for specialty segments.
  • Taking on increasing responsibility for the business plan and commercial strategy for specialty segments, driving growth and profitability.
Responsibilities

WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE?

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in a technical role, preferably within the renewable energy or semiconductor industry.
  • Ability to manage customer relationships and drive business growth.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Perovskite-silicon tandem cells and related technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Regular travel expected (up to 30%) to support customer and business development activities
  • An understanding of commercial principles, best practice and techniques.
