POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Technical Account Manager at REsurety, you will play a crucial role in our customer engagement model, managing all aspects of the customer experience from contract signature through to facilitating transactions on our first-of-its-kind platform, CleanTrade. In this role, you will be a customer voice, helping the Product, Marketing, and Compliance teams. You will be responsible for:

  • Driving customer adoption and engagement on CleanTrade;
  • Providing technical expertise to support the sales and customer onboarding processes;
  • Managing key accounts and ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction;
  • Collaborating with internal teams to improve product features and user experience; and
  • Contributing to the development and execution of our customer engagement strategy.

This role will play a crucial role in achieving our goals of increasing user adoption and conversion rates, as well as driving a new market for clean energy with unrivaled liquidity and transparency.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role with direct revenue responsibility
  • 3+ years of experience in renewable energy or power markets
  • 3+ years of experience in analytics
  • Articulate, personable, good at communicating directly, and enjoys being a team player
  • A passion for empowering the clean, energy-fueled future

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in an energy advisory role in renewable procurement and/or retail electricity supply markets
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a deep subject matter expert on renewable energy, energy procurement, and energy market fundamentals.
  • Be customer outcome-driven: recognize customer problems and effectively drive toward a solution.
  • Drive operational excellence by striving to create efficiency.
  • Demonstrate analytical prowess, undertaking technical analysis using various analytical tools, datasets, etc.
  • Be adept at sales processes and opportunistic thinking: match customers’ needs with services currently available and identify opportunities for further growth.
  • Act as a technical expert on platform functionality: understand and operate effectively in the regulatory environment CleanTrade operates in, and be a guide to customers, channels, and sometimes internally
  • Continuously learn about derivatives and commodities markets: energy, including renewable energy, oil and gas, electricity, futures, swaps, etc. Use those lessons to distill and implement best practices for exchange operations.
