Job description
Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Technical Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales of our iPSC-derived cells and research products by managing and nurturing relationships with key clients, providing support, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong technical background and excellent communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between our products and our customers’ needs. This position is an office-based role in Beachwood, Ohio with travel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Proactive and energetic individual with strong desire to drive business growth.
· Advanced degree in Life Sciences or a related field.
· Preferred: 3+ years of relevant experience in a commercial, scientific or technical role within the biotechnology or life sciences industry.
· Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with iPSCs, iPSC-derived cells and related products.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
· Flexible, adaptable and able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant tools preferred.
· Ability to travel to customer sites and industry events (25-40%).

· Responsible for driving market penetration and revenue growth for Trailhead’s research product lines to achieve sales targets.
· Develop and maintain an active opportunity funnel by independently managing the full sales cycle from lead generation through qualification and close.
· Utilize CRM to document customer interactions and develop and maintain a sales forecast for assigned territory and market segments; provide regular reports on progress.
· Travel and represent Trailhead at conferences, trade shows, and customer visits.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for accounts, providing necessary follow-up, expert guidance and support virtually and in-person.
· Build and maintain strong customer relationships to understand their needs, ensure their success with our products and promote the Trailhead brand within the market.
· Collaborate with internal teams, including Applications and Product Management to address customer issues and improve product offerings.
· Coordinate and lead technical calls, training sessions and presentations for customers.
· Monitor and analyze customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvements and innovation; provide VOC to Commercial team and other departments as needed.
· Assist in the development of marketing, sales and technical content to support customer needs.
· Develop a deep technical understanding of Trailhead products and applications; stay current with scientific literature and industry trends to provide insights to customers and identify new market opportunities.
· Manage and prioritize multiple customer accounts and projects simultaneously.
· Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned in support of the company’s goals and objectives.
