Responsibilities

THE ROLE

AkzoNobel is a global leader in yacht coatings, trusted by professional boatbuilders and owners to deliver exceptional performance and finish. We’re looking for a driven Technical Account Manager to own sales and technical support for our AwlGrip, International and Sea Hawk paint product portfolios across the Gold Coast, Whitsundays, Northern NSW and Darwin regions. If you have a passion for boats, thrive on building relationships, driving revenue and solving complex technical challenges, this role is for you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Own and grow a portfolio of end-user and reseller accounts, executing against agreed sales plans
  • Manage your territory with a great deal of autonomy, suggesting and implementing strategies to grow and improve AkzoNobel’s business
  • Identify and secure new customers outside existing networks, targeting Awlmix colour-mixing opportunities
  • Deliver product and technical training to resellers and end users
  • Drive sales performance, analyse variances to targets, recommend and implement corrective actions
  • Represent AkzoNobel at boat shows and brand-building events
  • Manage and improve customer relationships to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty
