OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a Technical Accounting Analyst to join our Technical Accounting team within the Finance team in North Reading, MA. This position will report to the Technical Accounting Manager.

This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days per week in office.

  • Play a critical role in the preparation for quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Qs, 10-Ks etc).
  • Perform review and reporting tasks, execute controls under Teradyne’s Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 Compliance program.
  • Research accounting and financial reporting requirements, recommend accounting treatment for transactions based on such research and document recommendations
  • Provide US GAAP interpretation and documentation support to some of our finance divisions
  • Liaise with Teradyne’s internal audit function and Teradyne’s external auditor
  • Support special projects such as:
  • Analyzing the requirements to comply with new accounting guidance
  • Business Process enhancements
  • Support the process of documenting existing and new processes.
  • Leverage technology to streamline procedures
  • Workflow improvements
  • System updates and implementations (related to ERP changes)
