Responsibilities

ABOUT TECHNICAL ACCOUNTING MANAGER ROLE…

The role of the Technical Accounting Manager (x12 month Mat Leave Cover) will have the core responsibility of overseeing SiteMinder’s statutory financial reporting and will be involved with monitoring new accounting standards and analysing the impact on the Company from complex business issues such as acquisitions, stock compensations, leases and revenue recognition. This position will also assist with updates to the Company’s accounting policies.

WHAT YOU’LL DO…

  • Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the Group’s half year and annual financial reporting
  • Liaising with external auditors and specialists on the preparation of Statutory Reports for Group and other regional financial requirements
  • Preparing technical accounting memos and position papers to document accounting conclusions/rationale and presentation to the Audit & Risk Committee
  • Providing technical accounting guidance and support to the business, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards
  • Assisting with M&A accounting papers and accounting entries for post integration
  • Assisting in the preparation of the Remuneration Report and other statutory disclosures
  • Strong technical understanding of capitalised development projects and preparation of monthly accounting entries
  • Monthly/ Yearly Cashflow preparation
  • Strong technical knowledge of goodwill impairment and lease accounting
  • Assisting the team with special projects where nee ded in a fast-growing company
