Description

Talk Telecom is a family run telecommunications company who provides business customers with VoIP cloud telephone systems, internet connectivity and corporate mobile phone tariffs. Owing to expansion, we now have a new position for a trainee Technical Administrative Assistant.
The ideal candidate will live locally to the office in High Wycombe Bucks, as this is an office based role and not a home working role. The position would suit someone who has an interest in technology and who would like to develop a career in technology.
Day to day duties include processing customers orders for new or upgraded services, First Line Support, answering incoming support calls, to gain an understanding of the nature of the fault, making comprehensive notes regarding the fault, onsite customer contact details, providing the customer with a fault ticket. You will then discuss the fault with the second & third line engineers to resolve the fault and communicate with the customer regarding the fault and the resolution. You will communicate updates with customers and internal staff.
No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided.

  • Good, clear telephone voice
  • Good clear handwriting
  • Spelling and grammar is important as you will be communicating with customers
  • Computer literate and familiar with Word, Excel and composing and responding to emails
  • Friendly, cheerful disposition.
  • Outgoing personality and not afraid to answer or make calls to assist customers
  • A passion for technology
