Position Title: Technical Administrator
Location: Lymington – Onsite

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Technical Administrator is responsible for setting up and maintaining finished goods items in SAP, supporting production efficiency through data analysis and process optimization. This role also manages packaging configurations, liaises with suppliers, and maintains internal databases. It plays a key part in ensuring accurate production data and cost-effective manufacturing processes.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• A-Levels (A–C Grade), including Maths
• Experience working in an office environment within a manufacturing site
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in extrusion, plastics, automotive, food, or packaging industries
• SAP system experience
• Understanding of various extrusion processes
• Familiarity with production cost analysis

• Create finished goods items in SAP based on defined parameters
• Set minimum order quantities aligned with machine capabilities
• Update product configurations for compatibility with various extrusion machines
• Determine packaging setups using existing materials and source quotes for new ones
• Analyze OE data to establish optimal run speeds
• Identify need for new extrusion dies and initiate production requests
• Provide pricing support to the Commercial team
• Maintain internal databases
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed
