We are seeking a proactive Technical Admin to join our collaborative team. In this role, you will work closely with our Contracts Manager and other departments to ensure the successful delivery of our projects through effective technical and administrative support. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to a major framework contract and gain valuable experience in technical administration.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Experience: Proven experience in a technical administrative role, with a strong focus on daily scheduling and planning within the Street Lighting/Highways sector.
  • Qualifications: A good level of education (A-Level Standard)
  • Attitude: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building strong relationships with both colleagues and clients.
  • IT Efficiency: Strong IT skills, encompassing proficiency in all Microsoft Office packages, Sharepoint and Confirm or similar asset management system. Knowledge of PowerBi would be advantageous.
  • Work ethic: You will demonstrate an attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Collative: Ability to work harmoniously as part of a team with a collaborative nature.
Responsibilities

What your role will include:

  • Assisting managers with the administration of cyclical maintenance and capital programs, including updating asset inventory.
  • Maintaining project schedules in strict accordance with planning and control processes and contractual requirements.
  • Generating and issuing job packs to operatives, including relevant plans, and distributing work via tablets.
  • Applying for ICP (Independent Connection Provider) connections as required.
  • Scheduling, noticing, and permitting works, including close collaboration with Liverpool City Council departments to raise necessary permits.
  • Engaging in daily communication with operatives, managers, and clients to ensure clear and timely information flow.
  • Collaborating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project progress.
  • Producing and analysing various reports to contribute to the accurate tracking and achievement of monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Updating and maintaining the asset management system.
  • Possessing and applying a strong understanding of the end-to-end project delivery process.
  • Identifying and assessing the potential impact of changes on project timelines and plans.
  • Communicating any identified changes effectively and proactively to the project team.
  • Performing general administrative duties to support the overall operational efficiency of the team.
