Discover more at www.necsws.com Job Description *Driving Licence is essential* As a Technical Administrator, you will play a key role within the Operational team of the Managed Radio Services contract to our customer, the Metropolitan Police. Supporting/delivering our mission critical logistics/Technical operational services you will be responsible for Accepting delivery of equipment at our Kennington Park facility in London, Issuing Equipment to Customers and engineers over the counter, delivering equipment to customers sites (this will involve driving a pool vehicle and Asset tracking/managing the stock in our secure stores. There will also be opportunity to participate in the testing of equipment at a simple functional level (Training will be supplied for this aspect of the role). Due to nature of this role successful applicant must be able to obtain SC Level +NPPV checks process successfully. This role is office based at our facility in Kennington Park London SW9 6DE. Operating hours are between 8am – 6pm 37.5 hours per week. What you’ll be doing: · Accepting delivery of consignments from suppliers and the checking contents. · Recording and documenting the movement of goods/equipment using a variety of common software tools (ServiceNow, Microsoft Office) · Preparing/booking deliveries of customer technical kit · Delivering to customer sites or where appropriate, booking deliveries via couriers · Assisting the wider team as a driver Qualifications Due to strict security clearance requirements, we can only consider applicants that have lived in the UK for 5 consecutive years or longer. What we’re looking for: · Competency with Microsoft Office Applications (Specifically Excel) · Some experience with database usage · Excellent customer service skills · Full UK drivers licence · The ideal candidate would have some Technology based experience/knowledge (as we are viewing this role as an entry position with opportunities for development and career progression. Particularly advantageous would be familiarity with IT networks, Public Safety Radio and Telecommunications. Responsibilities
The Technical Administrator will support mission-critical logistics and technical operational services by accepting equipment deliveries, issuing items to customers and engineers, and delivering equipment to customer sites. Responsibilities also include tracking assets, managing stock, and potentially participating in simple functional equipment testing.
