Your Scope
Job Summary
To maintain and develop the relationship between Ardo NV Ireland, its customers, suppliers & associates by developing close working alliances & providing timely responses to technical & quality related enquiries. This role is heavily customer focused and will include working together with many of Irelands leading retail, food service & industry clients as the main technical contact for the Irish market.
Leadership & Teamwork
Contribute ideas and solutions to improve the team’s service delivery.
Work in close collaboration with the Ardo Ireland team and keep the business updated as required on all technical aspect of the business
Advise other members of the team regarding issues related to food quality and safety and take a proactive approach to problem solving and support.
Communication
Communicate with other relevant departments within Ardo Group.
Convey a clear, timely and positive message that influences the thoughts and actions of others.
Communicate intentions and rationale for key decisions.
Clearly and effectively communicate with individuals within the business, Group, suppliers, and customers to ensure a good working relationship.
Ability to translate customer requirements into a format in which the business can relate.

Educate key customers on quality factors.
Become the Quality and Technical standards leader for Ardo Ireland.
Create positive relationship with group colleagues creating a positive outlook on forward looking.
Maintain the Company focus on quality products through understanding the customer’s needs & internal training. Keep an inquisitive and open mind to gaining knowledge on all aspects of the business.
Analytical
Organise and prioritise work, devoting adequate time and attention to individual tasks.
Handle competing priorities effectively, making sound decisions are made and taking the appropriate action.
Meet deadlines within the set timeframes given on projects.
Regularly evaluate task progress and adjust accordingly.
Effectively organise multiple assignments to produce work that is accurate, thorough and on time.
Responsibilities & Expertise
Understand customer requirements and ensure they are relayed within the business, managing the customers expectation at every step of the journey.
Handling, logging, investigating, and responding to customer complaints.
Liaising with customers, consumers, and suppliers where necessary.
Monitor labelling, ensuring it displays all correct and specified information.
Cover for all team members in their absence or as required.
Issue certificate of analysis for customers as agreed with the commercial team.
To work with other team members on Ardo Irelands customer portfolio/projects
Flexibility and willingness in this position is key.
Responsible for driving vendor compliance which requires someone with the ability to build strong, sustainable relationships.
Looking at ways to maintain the quality of the finished product as agreed.
Ensuring quality and safety standards are in place for all NPD and current lines.
Ensuring all products are produced to specification and following up on any deviations, correcting any issues.
Your profile
Minimum of Food Safety training and HACCP Level 3
Good level of PC literacy
Proactive attitude
Excellent time management
Ability to work on own initiative but also as a team
Understanding of Microbiology and hazards
Ability to navigate and create specifications, questionnaires and SAQ’s.
